Natural Recipes for Natural Cleansing


Oatmeal Blemish Cleanser (for sensitive and blemished skin)

  • 3 tablespoons of colloidal oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of unprocessed honey
  • 1/4 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar
  •  1 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice

Massage into face, leave on for 5 minutes,
rinse off with warm water.

Tomato or Grapefruit Toner (for oily and/or blemished skin)
  • 1 medium tomato or grapefruit

Mash tomato or grapefruit in bowl,
slather pulp and juice on face.

Egg White Toner (for all skin types)
  • 1 Egg

Separate the egg white from the egg
yolk. Using cotton ball, put egg white
all over face. Rinse off with tepid water.
(egg white can be stored in sealed container
for later use, egg yolk can also be stored
for protein treatment in hair.)

Whole Milk or Aged Milk (for all skin types)  
Saturate cotton ball with whole milk, and apply
all over face in an upwards motion. Leave
on for 5-10 minutes, rinse off with tepid water.
 
Aloe Vera Juice Spritz (for oily and/or blemished skin)
  • 3 parts aloe vera juice, to one part water

Put in spray bottle and spritz all over face. Repeat
several times throughout day, if desired.

Lavender Essential Oil Spritz (for all skin types)
  • 5-8 drops of lavender oil
  • 4oz. of distilled water

Put in spray bottle and spritz all over face. Repeat
several times throughout day, if desired.

Citrus Spritz (for oily and/or blemished skin)
  • 1 drop of lemon oil
  • 1 drop of lime oil
  • 1 drop of grapefruit oil
  • 1 drop of rosemary oil
  • 4oz. of distilled water

Put in spray bottle and spritz all over face. Repeat
several times throughout day, if desired.

Pampering Rose Moisturizer (for all skin types)

  • 1-2 teaspoons of jojoba oil
  • 1-3 teaspoons of sweet almond oil
  • 2 drops of rose essential oil (optional)
  • 1-2 drops of jasmine or lavender oil

Combine jojoba oil and sweet almond oil in bowl. Then add essential oils to base oil.

Nastassia’s Moisturizer (for dry and blemished skin)
  • 1-2 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 drops of bergamont oil
  • 2 drops of lavender oil
